In this programme our Senior Kindergarten-4th grade children get to experience their very own service with singing, prayer time, Bible teaching and crafts/games.
During the summer months, our SK-Grade 4 children spend the morning as a large group upstairs in the Community Centre participating in an Activity Time interacting with the other children and their leaders. They then participate in a time which includes singing, offering and sharing in prayer. Our teachers then share the Bible story for the morning with the group, and reinforce the main teaching point with games and crafts. We are using a curriculum called, "Rock Solid Follower" which provides a fun and interactive environment to explore and grow in their knowledge of the Bible and Paul’s missionary journeys through games, Bible stories, crafts, singing and discussions with their teachers. Our local missionaries will also be sharing each week about their mission trip experiences.
It is our goal to provide the environment where your child can know the love of God and grow in a personal relationship with Him in a safe and fun atmosphere. We want our Sk-Grade 4 children to leave being able to say:
I trust God no matter what.
Jesus can help me make wise choices.
I trust Jesus as my personal Forever Friend.
What to Expect:
Drop-Off: When you enter our Community Centre you'll find a check-in desk and friendly greeter who will be happy to answer any questions you may have. On your first visit, we will collect some basic information from you to get to know you and your child.
Service: After you drop off your child, relax and enjoy the service. Our volunteers will be providing a service of engaging worship, creative teaching and relational connections to provide opportunities for God to impact the lives and hearts of our kids for Him!
Pick-Up: At the end of the sermon, you will be released from the service to pick him/her up in the Community Centre where you dropped him/her off. Your child will not be released to find you--you must come to collect him/her. You will also be given any crafts that your child has made and a Take-Home paper to help you and your child apply that morning's Bible truth throughout the week ahead. You will then return to the auditorium with your child(ren) to share in the final worship songs together as a family.
We look forward to seeing your family here on Sunday!
