The purpose of our Nursery Program is to provide a Christ-centred, safe, loving and fun environment for your child. Our children have fun here!

Our Nursery has two rooms: Infants (Birth to approximately 12 months) and Toddlers. From birth, we begin teaching our children about the love of Jesus through the actions and care that our volunteers give and through Bible stories, poems, songs and age-appropriate activities. For the safety and security of your children, we have implemented a “Tag System” and registration that allows us to get to know you and your child. It is simple but effective. You will be asked to fill out a registration form for your child when he/she enters our program. When you sign in your child each Sunday, you will receive a tag with a corresponding number to your child’s tag and diaper bag tag. These tags must match for your child to be signed out at the end of the morning. Our goal is for you to be able to enjoy the adult service, knowing that your little one is cared for, safe and having a great time!

Drop-Off: We will collect some basic information from you to get to know your child and your preferences while in our care. These include napping, feeding/snacks, as well as diapering preferences. At that time you will also be given a tag with a number that will correspond to one we give your child. This is a simple but effective system to keep your child safe.

Service: After you drop off your child, relax and enjoy the service! If you are needed, you will be alerted by a volunteer.

Pick-Up: At the end of the sermon message, you will be dismissed to pick your child up in his/her classroom where you dropped him/her off at the beginning of the morning. First you will be asked to show your tag before picking up your child. We will collect and match all the tags (parent, child, diaper bag), relay any information that is pertinent to your child's stay with us and that's it! You and your child will then return to service to participate as a family in the final worship music set. 

For the health of your child we do have a Healthy Child Policy in place to keep the Nursery as healthy as possible. We ask that children who are sick be kept absent from the Nursery until the symptoms have resolved.

Baby Dedications 

A baby dedication at CCC is a special celebration for you, as parents, to make a public commitment before God, your church and your family to raise your child(ren) in a Christ-centred home and for us a your church family to make a public commitment to support you in this.  As your church family we are excited and honoured to share in the celebration of the special decision for you and your family.  Our Baby Dedication service is intended to allow you an outward expression of an inner commitment to raise your child(ren) in the way of the Lord and allows us the opportunity to commit to support you and to pray for you and your family.  If you are interested in dedicating your child please talk to Becky or Pastor Dan.
